INFORMATION

The inaugural NIKE Tournament of Champions featuring Hoophall West will debut on January 2, 3, and 4 2025 in Sunny Phoenix, AZ.

The event is a collaboration between the Arizona Basketball Coaches Association, producers of Section 7; the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, producers of Hoophall West; and the producers of Nike’s flagship girls’ basketball event, also called the Tournament of Champions. That event – hailed by the media as “unparalleled” (ESPN) and “staggering” (USA Today) – has been held continuously since 1998 and in the Phoenix Metro area since 2000, and has produced the consensus National Champions 21 times in the last 25 years.

STAY TO PLAY

The Tournament of Champions is a stay-to-play event. All teams traveling from outside the Phoenix-Metro area are required to secure reservations through our official housing partner, Traveling Teams.

Teams traveling from outside the Phoenix-Metro area that do not follow the stay-to-play requirement will forfeit their spot in the event.

ENTRY FEE

Team entry fees must be paid by October 1st or teams will forfeit their spot.

ROSTERS

All teams must submit their rosters with verified traveling team members by November 25th to compete in the event.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

In order to compete, all athletes must have a Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian. The waiver is done entirely online; if it is not completed by December 1st, the athlete may not compete. The waiver will be available in October.
