To participate in the 2024 NIKE NATIONALS, all teams must have submitted their rosters in the NCAA BBCS and paid their entry fees. The schedule and seeding will be finalized after Session III.

TEAM COACH INFORMATION

MANDATORY COACH REGISTRATION

FOR COACHES ONLY

DATE: Thursday, July 18
TIME: 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. (closes promptly at 8:00 P.M.)
LOCATION: McCormick Place
WHO: Every coach (head coach, assistant coaches, and anyone sitting on the bench)
Athletes are not permitted to attend registration, no exceptions.

LATE ARRIVALS
If you arrive in Chicago too late to make the registration above, you may register at North or West Hall beginning at 8:00 A.M. on July 19. Due to other tournament functions happening concurrently, there may be long lines and delays, so we strongly advise registering on July 18 as noted above.

SCOREKEEPERS AND TIMERS

All teams participating in Nike Nationals will have hired scorekeepers. No complimentary scorekeeper passes will be included for Nike National teams

NCAA COMPLIANCE

All coaches must have a USA Basketball Coach License prior to the event. Individuals without valid licenses will not be permitted to engage in coaching activities or sit on the team bench, and must purchase a spectator pass and sit in the designated spectator area(s). 

BBCS REGISTRATION

All athletes and coaches must be registered in the NCAA BBCS. Returning users should renew their previous account and not create a new one. For team events, coaches will use their players’ registration to create their bench/roster. Returning coach and athlete users should RENEW their previous account and NOT create a new one.

NCAA CERTIFIED EVENTS CHECKLIST

All of the steps outlined below must be completed 21 days prior to the start of the event. NO EXCEPTIONS. All coaches must obtain a USAB Gold License; all PSAs and coaches must register in the BBCS.

Administrative coach must: build their team bench in the BBCS; send invitations to PSAs and coaches (coaches and PSAs must accept the invitation to be added); submit justifications for PSAs on their bench that have residency issues; create the roster(s) for each event in the BBCS; and acknowledge that athletes cannot play more than two games in one day.

STAY TO PLAY

The Tournament of Champions is a stay-to-play event. All teams traveling from outside the Roseville area are required to secure reservations through our official housing partner, Traveling Teams.
The hotel booking link will be available in early 2024.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

In order to compete, all athletes must have a Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian. The waiver is done entirely online; if it is not completed by July 1st, the athlete may not compete. The waiver will be available in March.

CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINERS

Certified athletic trainers will be available 30 minutes prior to the first game until the conclusion of the last game on each day. Trainer stations will be clearly marked and located throughout the playing area. Players wishing to be taped prior to games are responsible for providing their own tape and pre-wrap.

BASKETBALLS, WATER, AND TRAINING SUPPLIES

Each team is responsible for providing its own basketballs, drinking water, and training supplies (tape and pre-wrap).

SECURITY

Every individual person will need to scan in prior to going through the metal detectors. We kindly ask you to arrive early as there may be lines to enter the courts. For a faster process, please make sure to remove all metal items such as laptops and water bottles before going through the security checkpoints.

Shuttles

Rostered coaches with qualifying credentials may ride the shuttles for FREE.
